Katherine Raz is the creator of BackGarage.com, an online vintage furniture shop. A freelance writer and marketing consultant, her work has appeared in Time Out Chicago and The Chicago Reader. She lives in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood with her husband, Jem. She used to publish a zine called Retail Whore and is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Libby Alexander is a chronic rearranger, sandwich fan, and really into helping people create a home space they love for less. She's been featured in Time Out Chicago, Apartment Therapy, Etsy, sfgirlbybay, & other notable design mags/blogs. She also contributes to funny lady site, The Hairpin. Libby lives in Chicago with her partner, Ryan, and her sweet, agoraphobic dog, Midge. She used to decorate her childhood clubhouse with garage sale finds and is originally from Springfield, Illinois.
