This peek at Robert and Robin’s Century Chicago goods for TVB is extra special because Robert sent over some info on each of the items. Take a gander and make sure to come out and shop TVB at DANK Haus next weekend.
Robert: “A stunningly restored “century of progress” desk from 1933 with a gracious curved front & bookshelf leg. Super jazzed to have Modern Cooperative at the February TVB for the first time! The shop earned the Timeout Chicago Best New Home Shop award in 2012 and if you take a gander at the below sneak peek photos you’ll know why. Meet Tiffany and shop her booth February 15 and 16.
The carless and out-of-towners will be happy because they do offer delivery and shipping. Owner, Tiffany Paige says, “Basically, if the piece fits in the back of my truck we deliver for free in Chicago only. Otherwise, we have a guy in the neighborhood who delivers large pieces for a small fee. We also ship anywhere in the US.”
Like this couch is a new addition to the shop and they’ll totally deliver it to your house and make you the happiest person alive.
TVB’s Love Hangover at DANK Haus is so close. I have been poring over each shop and planning my hunt. I need/want new dining chairs, fall shoes, aaaannd… some boar taxidermy mounts from The Savoy Flea? Yep. Crossing my fingers that Marianne has at least one in her booth.
Picking just a few photos from the Dethrose Vintage and ShopNOV shops was a challenge because everything was catching my eye and pulling at my wallet. Can’t wait to shop these two booths for beautiful, classic vintage clothing and accessories at TVB’s upcoming market at DANK Haus.
Feast your eyes…
Quality men’s vintage clothing and accessories can be tough to find, which is why I am super excited that the upcoming TVB will have three vendors slinging solid dandy, manly fashions. Let’s take a peek at some sweet photos from MidNorth Mercantile, Richard’s Fabulous Finds, and The Vintage Alchemist.

Hi TVBers! My name is Brandy and I’m the new video editor for The Vintage Bazaar markets and blog! I’ll be doing event videos, home tours, interviews, shop-alongs, and anything else I can think of to bring you a behind-the-scenes look at our vintage sellers.
My first project came just in time for the holidays, Samantha Balk of Rose Vintage was hosting a holiday shopping soiree in her new Chicago apartment and invited me over to check it out. Guests sipped on punch and ate incredibly delicious snacks (just try to watch the clip of her spread without your mouth watering) while shopping her winter line. The best part, besides her adorable sheepdog Otis mingling happily, was seeing all the guests have fun trying on the goods! What a great party.
Have an idea of what you’d like to see? Are you a TVB vendor who’d like to be featured? Don’t be shy. You can reach Brandy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Very excited to share some photos from new-to-TVB vendors Barry Vintage and Dial M Vintage. You can meet the shopkeeps and peruse their booths at the upcoming TVB at DANK Haus during our party and night market on February 15 (tickets for sale soon) and Saturday from 10am-5pm for FREE.

TVB popped up at the Renegade Craft Festival this past weekend and it rocked more than the 1st Annual Cat Video Festival (something that totally exists). TVB shoppers happily scoured 50 booths and racks like a cat on a roomba. Smiling faces, friendly vendors and great vintage finds were all around! I got to chat with some of the vendors and got the scoop on their shops, style, and snazzy goods.
I first stopped by the B.F.F. duo of Strangelovely and The Savoy Flea, A.K.A. Kim and Marianne. Their shops were so intertwined, that I thought they were one sweet combo, but they informed me that they’re “good friends” and like to be all cozy at TVB. Strangelovely’s style is “eclectic,” mid-century modern and full of things she’d put in her own home. I was particularly drawn to the colorful croquet mallets, which I quickly swooped up! Right now, they’re looking pretty nice and preppy next to my fireplace. Kim also had some log cabin-esque blankets and a sweet typewriter.
As I stepped on over to The Savoy Flea, I instantly felt like I had walked into a Parisian vintage shop. Marianne is really drawn to refined French pieces, old literature and the “elegant yet odd.” Her displays are what caught my eye – old pages ripped out of novels lined her tent and were also hanging from above in the form of literary mobiles. I was really into the small doll heads in the bell jars. How could you not dig that?
